Level3 McLean MAX/NLR tie Fibers
Port mappings between suites 109 and 111:
Note: The patch panel in S109 has 72 ports (six rows x 12 ports) , while the one in S111 only has 48 (four rows).
As such, a direct one-for-one correspondence was not possible when Level3 installed the panels.
Here's the actual correspondence:
- 1-1 - 1-6 (suite 109) To 1-1 - 1-6 (suite 111)
- 2-1 - 2-6 (suite 109) To 2-1 - 2-6 (suite 111)
- 3-1 - 3-6 (suite 109) To 3-1 - 3-6 (suite 111)
- 4-1 - 4-6 (suite 109) To 4-1 - 4-6 (suite 111)
- 5-1 - 5-6 (suite 109) To 1-7 - 1-12 (suite 111)
- 6-1 - 6-6 (suite 109) To 2-7 - 2-12 (suite 111)
- 1-7 - 1-12 (suite 109) To 3-7 - 3-12 (suite 111)
- 2-7 - 2-12 (suite 109) To 4-7 - 4-12 (suite 111)
Additionally, while all of the "extra" ports on the S109 side have bulkheads, quite a few of them don't have any fiber terminated to them.
Finally, for the ones that
are terminated, they're only in S109 and the other end goes elsewhere. Level3 needed a demarc for a circuit coming into our suite, and there were extra ports. Go fig.
